GP Planning Ltd have recently submitted a planning application to Wiltshire Council for an extension to an existing agricultural grain storage facility at Shrewton on behalf of Wiltshire Grain Ltd. The location of this grain storage facility is unique, situated within the wider historic landscape that surrounds the Stone Henge World Heritage Site. We have undertaken extensive pre-application consultation with English Heritage, Natural England and the Wiltshire County Archaeologist, working with them positively and proactively to ensure that the proposed facility minimises its impact on the historic landscape. We worked closely with our technical advisors, CgMS on Archaeology and Heritage and Applied Landscape Design on Landscape and Visual Impact, to ensure a robust set of documentation was submitted alongside the planning application. We look forward to receiving a decision from Wiltshire Council in the summer.
