GPP has successfully discharged a range of planning conditions for a sand and gravel aggregates quarry planning permission which was gained in January 2013. The new quarry at Willow Hall Lane, Thorney, Peterborough will extract in the region of 2,250,000 tonnes of sand and gravel. Recent applications were submitted to discharge conditions relating to ecology, landscape, phasing, noise monitoring, dust management, and lighting, with the conditions being discharged successfully. The operator, PJ Thory Ltd, can now commence the aggregates quarrying works.
