GP Planning Ltd are delighted to announce that it has received Planning Permission on behalf of Tamar Energy for a 3MW Anerobic Digestion Facility on the site of the former UK Coal Disposal Point, Wardley, South Tyneside. The Anerobic Digestion Facility will have the capacity to convert 70,000 tonnes per year of organic waste into renewable energy. Development work on the project is continuing, with construction expected to begin in approximately 12 months. This is the third Anaerobic Digestion consent GP Planning Ltd have obtained for Tamar Energy in the past 12 months.
