GP Planning was engaged to help Blue Sky Plastics gain retrospective planning permission for 8 large buildings built on a waste site in the open countryside, without planning permission after they had received a planning contravention notice from Lincolnshire County Council. The Blue Sky Plastics site, based just outside Bourne, takes in used plastics and processes them into a high quality regrind.
The site processes 20,000 tonnes of waste per annum and gaining planning permission retrospectively for the 8 buildings has meant the client’s investment in the building is not lost and Blue Sky Plastics can continue to run the business from the site with minimal disruption.
