BSc (Hons) in Town and Regional Planning, Dundee University

Membership:

Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute.

Affiliate Member of the Chartered Institute of Wastes Management

Maureen has been a Director of GP Planning since 2016.   She is a technically adept, commercially aware, results driven Director with extensive experience in minerals and waste planning, waste management and Environmental Permitting and associated projects.  She also brings her skills in planning for large mixed use residential and commercial developments, project management, stakeholder dialogue, independent facilitation and extensive expert witness and litigation experience.

She is a Chartered Town Planner with over 30 years’ experience covering all aspects of planning and project delivery.  Her experience has been gained in minerals and waste planning authorities (over 10 years), planning consultancies and the waste management/renewables industry.  This diverse range of experience enables her to look at projects from all angles and devise a planning strategy that will best deliver clients’ needs.

Maureen has managed a large number of complex projects and successfully secured planning permission in the most challenging environments.

Outside of work, Maureen enjoys spending time at her new ‘small holding’ tending to the alpaca herd, Agnes and Constance the chickens and walking Millie the dog!  Her favourite ‘time out’ would be a lovely meal and great company.
