GP Planning Ltd is delighted to have successfully secured planning permission for an anaerobic digestion facility/ research and development facility in Corby on behalf of Waste4Generation Ltd. The application was decided under delegated powers by Northamptonshire County Council, which meant that it did not have to be determined at planning committee. The facility will accept 40,000 tonnes of specialised liquid waste per annum (such as fats, oils and greases) in order to produce electricity. GP Planning Ltd successfully negotiated a planning consent with no per-commencement planning conditions, which is excellent news for the developer as they look to kick on with their development in the next few weeks.
